PRP Therapy is a natural treatment that uses your bodies own growth factors in order for the skin to repair and rejuvenate itself.
Platelet rich Plasma which is obtained from your blood, contains Platelets, which work inside the body, helping to heal wounds and tears. They also contain growth factors, which stimulate collagen production when injected into the skin, for the cosmetic treatment of wrinkles and scarring on the face, neck and hands.

Platelet rich Plasma can be injected to target specific areas of the face, such as around the eyes, alongside a Microneedling technique, otherwise known as a "Vampire Facial" to treat the entire face. This procedure creates controlled micro-injuries, that stimulate the body's natural healing response, initiating the release of natural growth factors, improving collagen formation and cellular tissue. Resulting in improved appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, scar tissue and overall skin texture.

FAQs
How many treatments are recommended?
This will depend on the health and age of your skin.
It is normally advised to have 2-3 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart. However your clinician will determine your treatment plan according to your skin condition.
What does the procedure involve?
Your skin will be cleansed and prepared and an anaesthetic cream applied for 20 minutes.
A small amount of blood will be taken from your arm and placed in a tube to be centrifuged.
The Platelet rich Plasma is then prepared and activated ready to be injected into any obvious lines or wrinkles.
The remaining PRP will then be applied topically on the treatment area before a Microneedling procedure is performed.
What is the downtime after treatment?
Treatment areas will be red immediately afterwards, gradually subsiding within 2-3 days. You can apply make-up the day after your treatment if you wish.
What is the aftercare?
Avoid touching or applying anything on the treated area for the first 12 hours.
Apply moisturiser as instructed after 12 hours, skin may become dry or flaky over the first 2-3 days,
Apply sunscreen and avoid strong sun exposure in the first week after treatment.
When will I see the results?
Results will start to become visible around 3 weeks after treatment, gradually improving over the next 2 months.
